I stood in line for an hour and a half and all I got was this lousy t-shit

OK so I am a self professed super geek. Today was one of the geekiest things I have done. I went to Brookdale mall and waited to see people dressed up in costumes and to get a free t-shirt. The shirt is cool I guess but I was excpecting something a little more event specific, not just a random Simpsons shirt.

It was quite and experience. Jeremy and I waited in a line that consisted of some of the greatest midwest type people you could imagine. Guy with open shirt, rebel flag belt buckle, and sandals was there. Obese couple feeding there baby Pepsi, yep they made it. Crazy guy who really looked like it was his first day out of the mental ward, oh you know he was there. Here are some pictures of the people in costumes, which it turns out are just regular mall employees conscripted into mascot service.

Notice that Bart's shirt is blue, which means that these costumes are about 20 years old.

A nice action shot of Homer. His hair has seen better days. I mean really couldn't they have fixed that.

awww isn't that cute. No maggie though, I guess they couldn't scrounge up a mall employee small enough for that costume.

Now I include a picture of the couple with the Pepsi baby. Not because I have any ill will towards large people, but because they were feeding there small child Pepsi. I don't think that addicting children to caffeine and sugar is genetic, I think that's horrible parenting. For that reason alone they should have there picture posted.

Like the man said, it's one thing to be heavy but being a bad parent is just wrong. Every parent makes mistakes, but you don't have to read Dr. freaking Spock to know you don't feed Pepsi to a baby. Where's social services when you need them?
